How often does the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame induct musicians into his Hall of Fame?
Biannually.
Does a person have to be born on Long Island in order to be considered for induction into the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame?
No. Inductees are either born or raised on Long Island, or have resided on Long Island for a significant portion of their careers. In the case of entities, they must have been either founded on Long Island or made a significant mark on Long Island during their existence. See Nominations & Criteria for additional information.
Are musicians the only ones who can be inducted into the Long Island Hall of Fame?
No. The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame consists of a broad group of visionaries, legends and leaders in all aspects of music, from recording artists to producers to technicians to venues.
What territories does the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame encompass?
The Long Island Hall of Fame encompasses four New York counties—Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Kings (Brooklyn) Counties.
